The pictures of Dracula represents Mr. Crepsley; Mr. Crepsley is considered the Dracula of Cirque Du Freak. He’s one of the first Vampires, and one of the strongest. The pictures about the girl with the red hair is because Mr. Crepsley’s wife was killed by the Vampaneze king. Mr. Crepsley stopped being a general because he didn’t want war anymore, he didn’t want to fight and kill any longer.
This tells us that Mr. Crepsley is a very caring, and someone the main characters can rely on. He is going to be a huge factor in the Vampaneze vs Vampire war. Usually in novels when a character’s loved one gets killed, they get consumed by revenge and ends up doing something reckless. So i’m guessing that might happen.
